As an ESG Advisor / Business Analyst at Lumos, you will lead and execute projects focused on sustainability and societal impact. You will play a versatile role in diverse and challenging advisory projects, including:

• Leading and executing consulting projects from start to finish, working alongside multidisciplinary teams for clients across various sectors.
• Advising organizations on developing and implementing their sustainability strategy and complying with CSRD reporting obligations, by providing guidance and support in areas such as:
  • Conducting ESG impact and materiality assessments based on the double materiality principle.
  • Implementing sustainable business processes and policies.
  • Designing, testing, and implementing sustainability reporting, processes, and KPIs in line with ESRS (CSRD), CSDDD, and the EU Taxonomy.
• Collaborating with clients, colleagues, and partners to solve (complex) sustainability challenges and develop and implement innovative solutions.
• Monitoring and expanding knowledge of sustainability laws, regulations, information, and industry trends and translating these into practical solutions, advice and actions for clients.
• Contributing to the further growth of Lumos by inspiring new clients and strengthening existing relationships. You will have full freedom to shape this role, develop new propositions, and improve existing ones.
• Providing input and delivering presentations during webinars, workshops, and conferences.

You are passionate about sustainability and excel at translating technical expertise into practical advice and execution. You are driven, analytical, and have a keen eye for opportunities. Additionally, you bring:

• A completed University degree in a relevant field such as sustainability, environmental sciences, business administration, or a specialized ESG-related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in ESG, CSRD, and/or sustainability (consulting experience in a similar role is a plus).
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, such as CSRD/ESRS (familiarity with ESG frameworks like GRI, SASB, TCFD or other related standards is a plus).
• Hands-on experience with sustainability reporting, particularly CSRD and the EU Taxonomy.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
• A proactive, independent, and results-oriented mindset, with a strong team spirit and client-focused approach.
• Comfort in engaging actively with clients and a willingness to build a professional network.
